I've noticed the same thing when editing posts (but only sometimes?), where you click save and it "does something" but stays in edit mode. At the very least it does actually save your edit, and if you refresh the page all will be well.

 

I noticed yesterday that, when I clicked "edit" and went to the "full editor", it had removed all the line breaks from paragraphs, which was weird, but I saved it anyway just to see what would happen and all the paragraphs were still there. This isn't an issue that needs fixing or anything it's just a strange thing I noticed that kinda scared me for a sec.

I notice on IRC there is a banner that gives a sort of status update. Its vague but useful for identifying when saltw's forums are up. Could we get something like that in reverse only maybe it actually has a snippet of the IRC conversation that is currently going on. And make the banner a link to http://irc.lc/esper/saltw/irctc@@@ ?

 

Like I thought this up as maybe an easier to implement alternative than that of an actual chat window that integrated into the Saltworld forums pages. But I could be wrong in this thinking.

Another suggestion, has to do with quotes. It'd be really useful if I could put my text cursor somewhere and just hit a button in either the raw text editor or visual editor and 'split' quotes into pieces so It makes it easier to organize a response.

Is there a "go to last post" button? I thought I found it but when I clicked it it just brought me to the first post, which I could've done just by clicking on any other button in the thread box

You probably found the topic preview button. (little icon to the right that doesn't light up until you mouse over it) It shows both the first and last post next to each other. (I think the post in-between is the first un-read post if it is different from the last post made)

 

Next to the heading of the post is the link to the page with that post, in case you want to see the last two posts, or start reading from the first un-read post up to to the last post.

Having a game blog on the front page almost makes it seem like this place is back. Also, the login page isn't working in Chrome. Worked just fine in Firefox.

Might I sugest agin, a skul-gun for my head.   Yesterday in Batery Park, some scum we all know pushes smack for NSF gets jumpy and draws.  I take 2 .22's, 1 in flesh, 1 in augs, befor I can get out that dam asalt gun.

 

If I could just kil by thought, it would be beter.  Is it my job to be a human target-practis backstop?

actually weirdly it wasn't working for me, but then I disabled the Mega (from mega.co.nz) extension and they worked again.
