Kelikan: Thats too bad, but at least the original function is still there, the gui is a personal preference so its not the same for everyone :)

Christophomicus: Maybe later if I feel like it, but it is 1280 x 960 for now :)

nakedmasoon: Just extract the file, then go into your RPG2003 main folder, and replace the "RPG2003.exe" there with this one.

sleeping_wind: Like I said to Neophyte above, even those without the patch can make changes and it will still keep them. So, as long as someone doesn't modify your curves directly, (like open it and try to change the exp "primary/secondary" values) it wont affect it at all.

Everything looked good until I got to the thing about monster's agility being capped at 255. What's that about? Would I have to adjust my heroes' agility accordingly, or what?

Remember , any idea that is awesome is worth using.

The skills eh? As long as I can increase the damage from it to 9999 to 99999 then I'll be incredibly satisfied. Lets see shall we?

EDIT: Damn, it doesn't. Its a a bit different from the one that RPGAdvocate had, but with a few exceptions.

EDIT2: The monsters party thing looks incredibly helpful, that is a big plus though,

arcanedude34:  Aten said that the enemy gets slow if it is set to a value > 255.  Perhaps the agi is stored as a byte internally and it is resetting when you go above 255.

@masoon, you open the RPG2003.exe whenever you start up RPG Maker 2003.

Also, he said that the hero bars get real slow, I believe.

@nakedmasoon open rpg2003 folder, there's this castle .exe just overwrite that with the patch.

Battle Events? I'm not getting you. The number of events you can enter is almost infinite. Or you're referring to something else??

I'm referring the the Battle Events in the Monster Groups section of the Game Editor. You can only have a maximum of 100 Battle Events. I am at 100, so I was wondering if there was a way to increase the size to 200 or so.

Thats about 2000 events in it. It got REALLY SLOW though after adding all that.

Whoa way too big... didn't fit on my monitor, made it 100% unusable. Plus my Monster Group page wigged out. If I hadn't been using a backup file, I would've lost 12+ hours of work. O_O

This in no way affects your game, what do you mean lost your work? If you don't like it simply download the normal rpg2003.exe from the download topic and replace this one again.

Oh yeah AlucardXDemon , I couldn't find a way to get do what you needed :(

This is quite brilliant. I didn't see this topic until now. D: How much can you really change, just for interest...like...can you change the damage calculation algorithms as well? Or is it mostly for the DB's visual looks and limits? Either way, it's still an awesome patch. Pity I can't use it, seeing as my screen can't go that big. D=

It saves quite a lot of times and give you to opportunity to reach beyond the limits!
I would defiantly make use of this in the future.

WOuld the still be a way for someone to lower the resolution so some people that cant use a 1280 X 960 resolution and on a personal note what program did you use to make this... just so i know cuz i am curently trying to make a patch my self...
