I just saw Changeling.

Despite it moving VERY slowly, and being a true story (already know what happens) it was a great movie. It was 2 and a half hours long, but it was good enough for me to hold my piss til the end!

Are you a bug, Bill Murray?

I watched Capote last night and I really enjoyed it. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was fantastic and the story surrounding the research/writing of the book was interesting.

Bordello of Blood

Bad by technical standards, but it's fun and Angie Everhart is too hot.

Yeah, I was lucky and got to see this in limited release at the cinemas. Really pretty film with some awesome fights.

Just watched Boogie Nights which I'd seen a few years ago when quite drunk and didn't remember a lot of it. Thought it was great! Probably my favourite PTA film (There Will Be Blood was amazing but dragged in points and the final act of Magnolia killed it for me a bit. Haven't seen any others of his yet).

Back the the Future Part 3.

it was ok, the ending was kind of confusing though, because Doc wanted to destroy the time machine when they got back, but then he shows up in a giant time machine train and says, "we've been to a shit-ton of time periods, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

I didn't think Idiocracy was that funny.  I thought it was a funny idea but the problem I had was that even if it was kind of the point, there is really only many laughs you can get out of low-brow humor.  Like despite the fact that it was COMMENTING ON MEDIA-ADDICTED CULTURE, and despite the fact that the purpose was to emulate the garbage you see on television, at the end of the day I'm not going to laugh any harder at a ball joke if it is SATIRICAL than I am if it is sincere.  I will appreciate it more but I'm not going to laugh at it!  That was the problem with Idiocracy, it was poking fun at this stuff but it still did essentially the same things, just for different reasons.

God I hated Idiocracy. such low brow humor, I cringed at almost every line made by one of the retarded guys (every person in the movie).

yeah

like when they would joke about the people watching that show where the guy was hit in the balls (i.e. almost all the time)

it almost made me stop watching.

Female Vampire

It's this cheesy 1970's movie where the main character is totally naked through 90% of the film.  It was both the most confusing and best movie ever.
