Any mellow songs whose theme means heartbroken, or left by the loved one, cheated on, etc...

It can be of any singer male/female..

I need something for a friend who is looking for these kind of songs

You think putting the word 'girl' in your topic title is gonna make more people click on it? You make me want to physically vomit.

What hurts the most - Rascal Flatts

What an astonishingly disgusting man.

I would recommend Dream Theater's A Change of Seasons. It basically tells the story of the whole arc of human life, so it also touches on this topic:

She walked into the night
She turned for one last look
She looked me in the eye
I said, 'I Love You...Good-bye'

It might be a bit of a hard listen to the untrained ear though.

Say Yes- Elliott Smith

Not really a bummer song but it's pretty mellow. Also, I got turned down by a girl and then I listened to this song and it was like he was singing my thoughts.
